| A Creative Place for Teachers | |
|
The Curriculum Lab has been established for the purpose of curriculum support for our teachers. It is available to all employees of the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District. It is maintained so that our teachers, aides, and the parents of students utilize the lab to prepare lessons, design art projects, or locate curricular materials and ideas. The Lab offers a variety of different curriculum tools. We are fortunate to have several laminating machines of various widths and thicknesses. We have over 600 Ellison die cuts, including 23 alphabets of varying sizes and fonts. They are classified by subject and alphabetized for easy location. We stock a variety of papers as well as art supplies for every medium. There are many idea books, magazines and clip art catalogs with suggestions for decorating a classroom, teaching a lesson, or creating an art project. There are also several art projects on display in the Curriculum Lab, displaying different styles to assist in making creative decorating decisions for the classroom. We maintain files and books filled with curricular and teaching ideas, arranged by subject, for teachers to copy. The Lab provides a valuable resource which is well utilized by the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District community. |
