SUBJECT: Update on Superintendent Search
This is a relatively quiet period of time during a superintendent search as the DLA advisers are in the process of contacting and recruiting qualified applicants based upon qualifications outlined in the Board’s adopted brochure. The Board is scheduled to review all applications shortly after the closing date of May 6, 2013, with a limited number of applicants invited to interview with the Board in May.
In preparation for interviews, the Board met and finalized interview questions that will be used for all interviewees, with a very small group invited to meet with the Board for a second round of interviews.
As planned, the new Superintendent will be appointed in early June.
