Other News

Congratulations!  Vons donated $2332.15 to Christa McAuliffe School in 2008.  We would like to thank Bakersfield Vons for their participation in the eScrip program.
The Vons/Safeway eScrip program is a fantastic program where schools can earn money from purchases families are already making at their local Vons/Safeway.  Families register their Vons Club Card number and every time they shop, a percentage of what they spend comes back to McAuliffe.  The money that is generated from this program has gone to many different programs including transportation for field trips, Camp KEEP, and new technology in the classrooms.
Thank you Vons/Safeway for continuing to fund this program even as the economy has slumped.  We VERY much appreciate your commitment to education even when economic times are hard.  We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing our partnership with you to fund youth education!
