Principal's Message

Dear Community,
      I am thankful to work with such a professional, focused and friendly staff on campus.  Our team draws from over 10 other district schools, notable in their own right, to make up the core of our campus.  I have already written a few times that, yes, we have a beautiful new facility but the thing that makes Old River truly a fine place is the people, adults and children, that are here.  I have worked with children at schools, all good places, since 1978 and can honestly say that I have never been part of something as extraordinary as this.  Our staff, parents, and students are all engaged in the very important work of preparing our nation’s future by taking responsibility  and ownership of this public school’s main goal – educating children.  We all know that education is the surest road to success in our culture.

 

I am humbled to be a part of something so important to our families and our community and honored to add my efforts at Old River.
