Today all Panama students participated in the Jumpstart READ FOR THE RECORD. At 1:30 P.M. we all read THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD. We were part of the effort to set a world record for the number of people reading the same book in a single day. It was fun!

| Teachers Retiring |
Three of our dearly-loved teachers are retiring this year. Mrs. Taylor, Grade 2; Mrs. Russler, Grade 3; and Mrs. Sands, Grade 3, will be ending their long teaching careers on June 2nd. They have the collective total of 85 years of experience. They are going to be sorely missed. Congratulations on many successful years of teaching!! Happy retirement to you all!!
