Homework goes home in a Homework Folder on Monday. It is due daily at the beginning of class. Classroom assignments are given daily and are due either the same day or by Thursday of each week. If work is not completed by Thursday; it will have to be completed in Detention on Friday or sent home and due on Monday. Reading assignments are done independently, with a partner, or in a small group. Students have a reading block of time set aside each day to work on reading standards. Math assignments are completed together whole class to introduce the lesson, then independent practice, followed by small group reinforcement activities. |
