Honor Roll & Principal’s List
Outstanding 4th, 5th and 6th grade students are recognized on Honor Roll at the end of each grading period.
ê Those achieving an “A” average will be placed on the “Principal’s List”.
ê Those with a “B” average in academic subjects taught daily (English, math, reading, spelling, social studies and science/health) qualify for the Honor Roll. Conduct is also considered.
ê Students must be working on grade level and may not be receiving a modified program in order to qualify for the Honor Roll (exceptions stated in Board Grading Policy).
ê Any grade below a “C” disqualifies a student from Honor Roll.
ê Students on the Honor Roll and Principal’s List will be recognized at a grade-level assembly at the end of each quarter; parents of these students are invited to attend!
ê Students in the 6th grade who make the Honor Roll three times during the school year will receive an Honor Roll pin. Students in 4th and 5th grades will receive a certificate.
