Assistant Superintendent of Business Services

Ms. Katie Gonzalez has been an integral part of the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District (P-BVUSD) for the past six years, initially serving as the Director of Fiscal Services before being promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Business Services in April 2024. A proud alumna of the district, Katie attended Castle Elementary and Actis Junior High School. Prior to her employment with the district, she was actively involved at various sites, volunteering with Parent Clubs, School Site Councils, District Advisory Committees, and Boundary Change Committees. She obtained her Bachelor's in Liberal Studies with a minor in Math, and an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting.  She then also earned her CBO license.

As the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Ms. Gonzalez brings a wealth of experience and expertise to further elevate the Business Services Division, contributing significantly to the overall success and growth of P-BVUSD. After earning her Chief Business Official License in 2023, she demonstrated comprehensive knowledge across the seven departments that comprise the Business Services Division: Facilities Planning & Construction, Fiscal Services, Information Security & Technology, Maintenance Operations & Grounds, Nutrition Services, Purchasing & Logistics, and Transportation. Katie firmly believes that efficient and productive operational services are essential in providing a top-tier education for students and a first-class working environment for staff.
