Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services

Trina Lovio brings over 25 years of experience in education, with a deep commitment to student success and instructional excellence. She began her career with Panama-Buena Vista Union School District in 2002 and has served in a variety of impactful roles including classroom teacher, Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA), Academic Coach, Principal, Instructional Services Coordinator, and Director of Assessment, Curriculum, & Technology.

Trina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a Concentration in Mathematics, a Master of Arts in Education, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership—all from California State University, Bakersfield. She also holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Reading Specialist Credential, and an Administrative Services Credential.

As a first-generation high school and college graduate, Trina deeply values the transformative power of education. She is passionate about fostering a culture of collaboration among educators and ensuring every student has access to rigorous, equitable learning opportunities that will prepare them for future success.
