COVID-19 Resources for Staff Members
The district will provide respirators specifically, N95 masks for all staff at no cost to all employees. Employees may request an N95 mask at their school site office or the Health, Safety and Wellness office during operating hours without fear of retaliation. Upon receiving the N95 mask the employee will receive instructions for wearing an N95 mask.
Employees are advised of the proper use of face coverings. Employees are the fact that face coverings are not respiratory protective equipment. COVID-19 is an airborne disease. N95s and more protective respirators protect the users from airborne disease while face coverings primarily protect people around the user.
