Bryan Easter

Board President

Bryan Easter has served the local community as an educator for over 18 years. Nine of
those years were spent teaching in P-BVUSD. Born and raised in Bakersfield while
attending all Panama Buena Vista schools, Bryan is passionate about education and
how P-BVUSD serves the needs of all students. As a P-BVUSD parent, he has a very personal investment in his leadership position as trustee.

Bryan earned his Bachelor’s degree and teaching credential (CSUB) and Masters in Educational Leadership (PLNU), both locally. He currently serves as the Superintendent of the Maple School District in Shafter California, sits on multiple educational boards/committees and represents Region 12 on the CSBA Small District Advisory.

He has been married to his wife Heather for twelve years and they have two children, Gavin (8) and Briar (4). He and his family serve the local community through various organizations including their home church. Bryan’s desire to see students succeed in all areas comes from his many years of mentoring and teaching students from diverse backgrounds in the local community.
