The Panama-Buena Vista Union School district is committed to taking steps to slow the spread of the respiratory infectious diseases, including COVID-19. In collaboration with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools under the guidance of our Public Health Officers, we continue to implement protocols and procedures to keep our staff and students safe. Trainings, presentations, documents and resources are updated as we learn more and guidance changes.
The Panama-Buena Vista Union School District continues to offer employees COVID-19 testing at no cost. Any employee regardless of vaccine status is welcome to an at-home test kit.
COVID-19 at-home test kits are available at no cost for all employees at each school site during operating hours and at the Health, Safety and Wellness (HSW) Office between 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
