It is our mission at Student Support Services to support our students and families by:

• Eliminating Barriers: Many of our students and families are faced with a number of challenges and if there is we can do to help, we would love to try. We may not have all the answers or solutions, but we will do everything we can to help navigate your unique situation. Give us a call at 831-8331, Extension 6614 for more information. 

• Coordinating Resources: We collaborate with a number of community-based organizations who share our mission of helping students and families. If you are interested in learning more about what type of community-based resources are available, we encourage you to scan the QR code (below) and follow us on Instagram, our most active social media account. We regularly share local resources and resource-related events here in Bakersfield and in some local outlying areas. 

• Coordinating Support: We collaborate with our Panama-Buena Vista Union School District schools regarding school-based supports available for a wide variety of needs (including but not limited to academic, social-emotional, health/wellness, etc.). Please call your child's school to inquire about school-base support. If you are not sure who to connect with at your child's school, you are welcome to give us a call at 831-8331, Extension 6614 so we can help connect you to the right person.
