📥 Submitting Your Request
All salary advancement requests must be submitted through the Google Form linked below. Please ensure all documentation is uploaded and complete.
SUBMISSION STEPS:
- Complete the HR Salary Advancement Request Form with the required information (linked below)
- If using pbvU units to advance, you must attach proof of completion found in Badgr -No other proof of completion for pbvU units will be accepted.

If you are requesting salary advancement based on post-baccalaureate units from an approved college or university, please request official transcripts. These can be sent electronically to Jessica Tapia at units@pbvusd.k12.ca.us, or you may submit sealed hard copies along with your HR Salary Advancement Form. This also applies to approved professional development units. You must purchase the units through the associated university (e.g., Chico State) and submit official transcripts as verification.
- You must submit both the form and attachments for your request to be processed.

DEADLINES:
- October 1 for Fall Advancement Requests (to earn a full year's credit)
- March 1 for Spring Advancement Requests (to earn a half year's credit)

Workshops attended during contract time are not eligible for unit credit toward salary advancement.

Conferences paid for by the District are not eligible for unit credit toward salary advancement.

It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure coursework meets eligibility criteria outlined in Article 12 of the contract.
